The Banksia medallion and clasp were hand carved in wax and then cast. The carving is inspired by the Australian Banksia Pod, and the abstract medallion shape is reminiscent of an ancient coin. Black and gold make a striking combination, and the mix of metals makes it easy to layer with other pieces.
